Stoner determined to win at Le Mans


Le Mans - For the third time this season Casey Stoner won the pole position. After the failure in Jerez and Estoril, hero Honda was determined to re-track the top podium at Le Mans.

Stoner previously also won the MotoGP pole position at Qatar and Spain. But only in the series opener he had secured the title, because the incident involved with Valentino Rossi in Spain and only third place finish in Portugal.

Re-start from pole position clear opening width of racers from Australia's chance to win a second victory. Stoner was determined to not be mensia wasted opportunity that has come to him.

"This is our third pole this season but we only managed one which converts it into victory. So we hope to have a little luck this weekend at Le Mans and fight to win,"said Stoner in Autosport.

Stoner appeared dominant throughout the free practice sessions to always be qualified with the fastest racer. However he denied that it obtained easily because of several constraints are also found in several sessions.

"We are delighted with this pole, we are very focused with a set-up this afternoon from one motor to another motor to make a few changes to improve (performance)."

"His condition is not perfect today, it was quite windy so it's hard to see if you're making progress or not. But my Honda works very well and I never push to the limit, and under such conditions is always good," Stoner completed.
